The majority of Raypak heaters will have a digital readout. Going by the degree reading, and the time of year I would say something is wrong with a temperature sensor. I dound a raypak p-ra-en-c ever since I replaced the pilot assembly after I turn it on it sparks then pilot lights then CFH the burners all light with strong blue flame then m266 shuts off.

It is sporadically working. To troubleshoot it further, I suggest you call Raypak. In order for the touchpad to operate, they must take the heater back out of remote mode- by holding down the UP and DOWN buttons for 3 seconds. It had worked flawlessly since we installed it.

Anyway, yesterday we went to fire the heater after using it several times in the past m266z and now have the TA6 Tab alarm. Pressure Switch is at fault. My unit is saying soundd limit 2 fault. We needed to break the the Low Nox circuit tab as it is not a Low Box unit. Then goes back to CFH. I quickly contacted my pool builder, he suggested shutting it off for 20 minutes and trying again, but i left i about an hour and still no good?!?

Water temperature is below 36F or above F 2. The heater is in a room with the other pool equipment, but it is very cold in there.

We check there souund water going into the water heater and nothing has changed for the past 2 years. About a week later it did the same thing and did not start. Anyway, thanks soundd the response. Before the heater stops, is there a knocking sound or hissing? Check water levels at skimmer face. Control Remains locked out until flame is not present.

Raypak Heater Fault Code Guide

I already reset factory defaults and cleared fault codes, but error keeps reappearing. The code only notes that the heater is attempting to spark for ignition and does not denote an error has occurred. The PLT fault code on Raypaks is acknowledging a pilot failure.
